I’m so grateful to have been able to sponsor the Polocrosse Nationals this year, with this Polocrosse framed print as the prize! 🐴🏆

I’ll always love returning to my roots and creating Polocrosse scenes. They’re such a joy to paint, with so much movement, energy and character in every one 🙌🏻

Although it was such a shame that Nationals couldn’t go ahead this year, I’ll still be taking plenty of inspiration from all the brilliant players and their horses for artwork to come! I’m sure there would have been some incredible games played, so a huge well done to everyone who made the most of the weekend despite the weather 👏🏼

And, as a little pick-me-up, I’ve decided to release my Polocrosse range to you all! 🤎

These prints, products and this special Polocrosse original would usually be exclusive to my Nationals stall, but I feel it’s only right to make them available now for anyone who was hoping to pick something up over the weekend.

Prints, mugs, cushions and more are all available — and if you’d like to know more about the original piece, just send me a message! 🐴✨

It’s been a while!

I’ve struggled with posting much recently as life has been busy! I’ve had a lovely summer full to the brim of sun, fun & creativity 🙌🏻

I thought I’d show off a few snippets to get you all caught up on where I’m at, what I’m up to and what’s to come! 👉🏼

Hoping to be more active on here & keep you all updated on my newest work available.

DM me your email to receive my newsletter, you’ll have first access to any new work, collections & offers! ✨

Sunny days, camping trips & river swimming… oh it’s good to be back in Northumberland 🫶🏼

I’ve set up some local paint classes! I teach the basics of acrylics whilst creating stunning pieces inspired by my work in wildlife art & the countryside around us.

Get in touch if you’re around Rothbury and interested! Or check out Hally Mason Paint Club 🎨 💞

Coos, mr stink & beanie had to make the grid 👏🏼

Finding inspiration, experimenting & just creating for fun rather than any restrictions is my current vibe… I really struggle when I contain my work to any theme or ‘collection’. So we’re just going with the flow.

My favourite season has begun… country shows! My last one of the year is Thropton show on the 19th, so be sure to stop by to snap up exclusive products, available at markets only 👀

I’ve sold a few of my favourite pieces recently, as always I love to see my work off to a new home to be admired, no better feeling!

And of course creating more work again… I love this piece in particular! I’m enjoying playing around with human portraits, but don’t worry, I always return to my roots eventually 😉

Birthdays have always felt like something worth celebrating.

I know for a lot of people they can bring mixed emotions, but I was lucky enough to grow up seeing birthdays as joyful occasions.
They were never just about getting older, they were about being celebrated. About cake, flowers, laughter, party hats, and feeling special for simply existing another year.

This painting is a love letter to that feeling.

It’s part of a body of work exploring sisterhood, girlhood, and the small moments that shape who we become.

I wanted this piece to capture the excitement of birthdays through a child’s eyes, that sense that the whole day belongs to you, that growing up is something to look forward to rather than fear.

While painting it, I gave myself permission to play. I experimented more than I usually would, letting colours, marks and textures find their own way across the canvas. It feels a little different from my previous work, but somehow it still sits comfortably alongside it. If anything, it feels like a natural step forward.

One of my favourite parts happened almost by accident.
The party hat, the huge smile, and the bouquet of flowers came together to make her look as though she’s being honoured, almost like she’s receiving an award for growing older. I love the humour in that idea. Perhaps we should celebrate every birthday with that same pride - because every year lived is something to be grateful for.

This painting is playful, optimistic and full of colour, but beneath that is a reminder that growing older isn’t something to hide from. It’s something to celebrate.
