We aim to increase levels of creativity within everyday life by offering opportunities for people to participate in the arts. We make art accessible, enabling and encouraging people to explore their creativity by providing the resources and guidance. We have run many projects in schools, colleges, and festivals over the past nine years. We involve many people in the development of ideas and organi
sation of Labyrinth Arts - from creative professionals to local residents. The lead artist is Tez Roberts, having over 10 years of experience in devising and delivering workshops in numerous settings. Tez comes from the potteries and has always been interested in ceramics. Her father and grandmother were also potters. Tez graduated from the University of Wolverhampton in 2003. Photo of Aimee
Aimee Blease-Bourne works with Labyrinth Arts as an experienced Arts Facilitator, creating projects with local people to facilitate change within the community. She is also a self employed researcher who specialises in looking at the ways people interact with the landscapes surrounding them. She has a strong passion for the environment and continues to facilitate opportunities for people to celebrate nature. The Labyrinth is an ancient symbol representing our journey through life. The continuous path twists and turns, but as long as you keep walking you will always come out. It is an expression of transformation and represents to us the artists and participants' journey through creativity. We also aim to enhance peoples understanding, appreciation and respect for the environment (local, national and global) and empower members of the community to create change within their local area, helping to maintain a clean, healthy and pleasant environment for people to live and visit.
