A sincere acknowledgement goes to Mr Kerry Bunce, who was presented with the Nation Radio Contribution to the Community Award at Brangwyn Hall in Swansea.
Kerry is the well‑known caretaker at Cyfarthfa High School and serves as the Chairman of the Merthyr Royal Welsh branch. He is widely recognised for his exceptional service to the community. He single‑handedly organises the Remembrance parades in Pant and across the borough each year, ensuring they are carried out with dignity and respect.
He has raised thousands of pounds for the Royal British Legion and has supported countless veterans through his dedication and commitment. His work has made a significant and lasting impact on many people.
