It’s all about dinosaurs at the museum this half term.

Children’s activities run from Tuesday 26 May to Saturday 30 May, 10am to 4pm.

Take part in our free dinosaur trail. You can also colour in your own dinosaur mask for free! And for £2.50 you can decorate your own dinosaur wooden racer.

No booking required.

We have a very special talk coming up at the museum for the Festival of Archaeology.
Join us and Dr Phil Harding for a talk on ‘Metal Detecting and Archaeology: Roman Riddles and Saxon Secrets,’ on Thursday 23rd July at 7.30pm, with doors opening at 7.00pm.

Phil Harding has been metal-detecting in Leicestershire for over 30 years and has worked independently and in close collaboration with archaeological projects.

It’s £4 per person.

Spaces are limited, so pre-booking is essential. Call, email, or visit the museum to secure your spot. We look forward to seeing you there.
