Turing was a trailblazing mathematician, is considered the father of theoretical computer science and artificial intelligence, and his work to decode N**i Germany’s communications is said to have shortened WW2 by up to 2 years, no doubt saving countless lives. Emmeline and her daughters were the beating heart of the Suffragette movement in Manchester, but also helped drive forward the campaign for votes for women nationally.
