Make the most of the long weekend before the kids head back to school! We’re open across the entire Bank Holiday weekend:

Can you believe how quickly the summer holidays are passing? We are well into our summer opening season now, which means time is running out to pay us a visit before the holidays come to an end! 🏛️✨

🏛️🎉 SUMMER HOLIDAY FUN FOR ALL AGES! 🕹️🚂

Keeping the kids entertained during the holidays doesn't have to cost a fortune! Lydd Town Museum is open every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoon (2:30pm – 5:00pm) and admission is completely FREE!

Even if you’ve visited us before, we have plenty of brand-new displays to explore this summer!

Highlights include:
🎮 Technology Through the Ages: Take a nostalgic look back at how gadgets, phones, and tech have changed over the decades.
🎣 Marsh Life: Learn all about traditional fishing on the marsh and the unique story of the Lyddite Chicks.
🏅 Wheels of Time: A brilliant activity scheme that we are part of - for children collecting their badges!

We have FREE parking right outside the door, and we’re only a short walk down Queen’s Road from The Rype.

Our lovely team of volunteer guides will be on hand to show you around or let you browse at your own pace. Pop in this week for a fantastic afternoon out! 🏛️💖

Looking for a great way to spend this warm afternoon? Why not pop down to Lydd Town Museum? 🏛️

We’re nice and cool inside, making us the perfect alternative to the heat.

We’ve got plenty to see for all ages, and for our younger visitors, it’s a brilliant opportunity to collect your Wheels of Time badges! 🏅

We are open from 2:30pm until 5:00pm today. Admission is free, and our lovely volunteers are ready and waiting to welcome you. Come and say hi! 👋
