This is one of London’s most spacious open access fine art printmaking studios and is equipped to a very high standard. We opened in October 2011 as Thames Barrier Print Studio as part of Second Floor Studios & Arts in partnership with Emafyl Robobond. From 1st July 2016 we changed management and renamed as Thames-Side Print Studio. A new name, a new website and social media accounts but we contin
ue to operate with the same team, equipment, hours and costs. We offer facilities and services for experienced printmakers to practice screenprinting onto paper or textiles, letterpress, plate litho, intaglio, relief and digital. For those with no previous experience who’d like to try it, the studio has introductory printmaking courses and can provide one on one training if preferred. All our courses provide adequate training and experience to become an open access member. Membership
You can access all print studio facilities as either as a keyholder or an open access member. Keyholder membership provides 24 hour access and is available to experienced printmakers who require no assistance and can work independently. Open access membership is for printmakers proficient in their area of discipline but technical support is available.
