We were delighted to host sessions handling early Egyptian glass as part of the recent ‘Transparent Journeys along the Silk Roads’ conference organised by UCL Institute of Archaeology, the Association for the History of Glass, and the British Museum. The event focused on the vital role of glass as an indicator of exchange, trade and movement along the Silk Roads.
