ONE WEEK TO GO

From 16-18th October, our Autumn Art Fair returns with over 70 stands of unique artwork to explore, for your home or collection! Meet the artists, learn the stories behind the work and walk home with a masterpiece…

(1-3) Jill Iliffe
Jill Iliffe is a professional artist who has exhibited widely. She gained an MA from UAL in 2009 and took part in Portrait Artist of the Year on Sky in 2020. Her work has been purchased by the National Football Museum for its permanent collection and she is in discussion with them currently concerning a further purchase. Her work is contemporary figurative and she works on many themes, currently primarily on calming still life work and work based on memories and vintage photographs.

(4-6) Sue Woodger Art
I create original painted paper cut artwork that is inspired by the patterns, forms and silhouettes found in nature. My work most regularly features swarms of paper butterflies, shoals of fish, and flocks of birds all painted using highly vibrant watercolour. Every picture has depth, movement and variation and is framed. I make my original papercut artwork in a wide range of sizes and price points – from large focal ā€˜wow’ pieces to miniature works starting from Ā£25.

(7-9) Pracheta Budhwar
Pracheta's work is about capturing the affect nature has on her being. From whispers of the clouds to sweet songs of the flowing stream to the perfect harmony of lazy afternoon to the wrath of a thunder storm, she tries to impart the emotion on paper. Most often, she works wet on wet, capturing the drama of light and reflections yet invoking a sense of calmness.

From 16-18th October, our Autumn Art Fair returns with over 70 stands of unique artwork to explore, for your home or collection! Meet the artists, learn the stories behind the work and walk home with a masterpiece…

(1-3) Gill Haynes
Trained at the London School of Fine Art, Gill mostly paints Still Life compositions in oils and likes to explore the play of light on glass, metal and ceramics whilst always featuring items from the natural world such as fruit, flowers and fish.

(4-6) Sabina Adamska
Tincture Studio is an art venture that I started this year. I focus mainly on characterful animal portraits and classical paintings with a modern colour palette.
I work primarily with oil paint using animals as social and symbolic subjects. In my recent work, I focus on a series devoted to utility birds, domesticated and working species that are often overlooked or treated as less worthy of attention.

(7-9)Jane Wilson
Jane is a process driven mixed-media artist based in Looe, Cornwall, whose vibrant, multi-layered paintings are deeply rooted in her background in textile design and the fashion industry. Her work explores interconnectivity through the interplay of layers, repeated motifs, colour and pattern; a direction that flourished during a creative pivot in 2020.

(1-3) Clare Marks
Since graduating from Glasgow School of Art in 2012, Clare has developed her painting practice alongside a decade in interior design. This experience has honed her sensitivity to colour, texture and the subtle ways we shape and experience our surroundings. Her paintings begin with the quiet details of gardens, landscapes and lived spaces, translating fleeting impressions into something tangible and beautiful. Familiar colours and forms recur from one work to the next, creating a continual thread through her collection.

(4-6) Michael Sutton
Michael Sutton has been deeply engaged with art since childhood, later studying art history and attending art college to pursue graphic design. For over forty years, he ran his own London-based design agency, before retiring in 2020 to focus fully on painting. He has since further refined his practice through study at Heatherley’s School of Fine Art and the Barnes Atelier. Since 2022, his work has been exhibited widely, including winning first prize at the Weybridge Art Festival in 2023, was one of fifty artist being chosen for exhibition at The British Art Prize in 2024.

(7-9) Basieva Art
Yana Linch, Basieva, is a contemporary abstract painter whose work explores the relationship between colour and texture. Through an intuitive and process-led approach, each painting develops organically, guided by movement, layering, and response rather than a fixed outcome.

(1-3) Richard Sena
Richard Sena is a London-based artist working primarily in cyanotype photographic printmaking. His practice explores the intersection of architecture, landscape and natural movement, often focusing on brutalist and industrial structures alongside flocks of birds in flight.

(4-6) Suzanne Needham Ceramics
Suzanne’s ceramic work is hand built in porcelain. Decorative bowls and vases are made using natural plant material embedded into porcelain. Each piece is fired with the wild flora, to leave its delicate impression behind, and then enhanced by detailed hand painting. Suzanne’s work allows the viewer to appreciate nature’s fleeting moments in time.

(7-9) Sue Colyer
Sue is a contemporary watercolour artist whose work centres on freedom of expression and emotional connection. Her practice is rooted in creating a sense of calm and sanctuary — artworks that invite people to pause, breathe, and reflect within the spaces they inhabit.

(1-3) Sarah Stanley Mosaics
Sarah creates original contemporary mosaics – each piece is completely unique; hand-cut using glass, porcelain, ceramic, mirror, stone and marble. Her is predominantly abstract and made with a limited colour palette, using shade, tone, hue, texture, cutting and laying to create depth and interest and to emphasize the unique qualities of each material.

(4-6) Charlotte Clowes
Charlotte makes vibrant work, which appears to be two dimensional , but has textural and sculptural qualities. Charlotte's subject matter is Flowers, Fruit and Animals

(7-9) Martin Stephenson
Martin Stephenson draws on 30 plus years as a furniture maker and sculptor to create highly distinctive landscapes. Using acrylics, lacquer and surface carving his work was originally inspired by observing the intricately carved, ink stained woodblocks used by Japanese print artists. (1-3) Stuart Baker
On leaving art school Stuart started work in advertising where he spent many happy years as an art director. He met, worked with, and made friends with some of the most interesting, talented, and creative people of a generation, but knew he would have to leave the business if he was going to make a life as an artist. So far so good.

(4-6) Michael Cole
Michael Cole is a Sussex-based oil painter whose work explores the emotive power of light through richly atmospheric, contemporary paintings. Largely self-taught, he draws on traditional painting techniques, combining classical craftsmanship with a modern sensibility.

(7-9) Ana Gallego
Ana Gallego is a South London artist whose hyperealistic watercolour paintings document the city’s architectural heritage. With a collection spanning over 200 locations, the artist captures the intricate textures and "small imperfections" of London’s iconic pubs, cafes, and other shop fronts. These original works serve as a precise visual archive, preserving the unique character and history of the capital’s high streets through technical detail and saturated colour.
