Hello all! Are you our neighbour, local business or worker in #Fitzrovia?

We’ve been granted a road closure on Scala St & Whitfield St for a Po***ck’s Fete on Saturday 14th August! Free & open to all!

Toy theatre shows, Pearly Kings & Queens & workshops are being planned.

If you have any concerns, thoughts or ideas about the road closures let us know. Or if you’d like to help steward the event or have an idea for a stall/workshop we’d also like to chat!

Morning! Happy Bank Holiday weekend all. A visitor just came in and said “It’s very Parisian in here!” so if you’re feeling low about not getting abroad this #halfterm come & visit the museum instead! We don’t have baguettes but we DO have mini figures made of bread from Ecuador! Yum! 🥖🥐

Hello everyone. We're getting ready to reopen next Monday 17th May doing lots of jobs around the museum to welcome you back 🎊 Over the next week we'll be sharing what jobs we're up to on the Po***ck's Toy Museum Group but here's a peak of our week in pics-

✏️Artist and Illustrator Nina Goodyer is busy developing an activity sheet for our younger visitors!

Our Story

Pollock's Toy Museum is located in the West End of London it contains a unique collection of antique toys.Including dolls, teddy bears, trains, cars, tin toys, puppets, toy theatres, dolls houses and much more. The Pollock's Toy Museum was set up as a privately owned museum in the 1950’s by Marguerite Fawdry. The museum has always been owned by the Fawdry family. A charitable trust was formed by Marguerite Fawdry in the 1960’s to oversee the running of the museum.

It's a unique place with so much to see and so much history. It's my family history too (Benjamin was my great grandfather) and we have donated personal family items to the museum as they treasure every thing there. Well worth a visit and such nise people too.
