Ten years from our first public installation of our Petting Zoo work at the FracCentre Val de Loire ArchiLab exhibition, we share our work with the Brazilian community in an attempt to participate in the somewhat limited discussion these days on the subjects of AI and creativity, AI in art and architecture. Expanding the scope beyond text prompts, GANs and curating databases is not only necessary but should speak to what motivates and humanises these technologies.

An interview with Stephen and me titled "All Is In the Now" is published today giving insight into some of the motivations behind The Order of Time.
"The only certainty is uncertainty and this speaks to the need to challenge the orthodoxies of discourse and design."

A great pleasure on this occasion to be in conversation with Ariane Koek at the concluding public event of our exhibition "The Order of Time". Thematic ranged from our early work, art/science collaborations, physics, and the necessity to create new spaces that challenge the orthodoxies of the time.

Stephen & I want to thank Ariane for the generous deep dive into our work since Becoming Animal (2007).

For those that may find themselves in London our Minimaforms exhibition, The Order of Time opens to the public and is on view at the Architectural Association Gallery. A work that connects many of our preoccupations with physics, art and architecture.
Carlo Rovelli reminds us that in physics, there is no future or past; everything understood remains in the ever-present. The Order of Time speaks to this understanding of time(s) as something situated and relational, examining world-building at infinite resolutions from the subatomic to the cosmological. The exhibition includes a conversation between Carlo and myself, drawings, films, and a series of generative studies that further expand on the installation.
