HvH ARTS Festival was a sell out! We had a beautiful day, with our young artists, performers , Mayor of Camden and Cllr Sabrina Francis coming along to help our ceo Debbi Clark hand out the youth ambassador awards and art scholarships to our young people, and a beautiful speech by .rackal talking us her journey with us at HvH ARTS since joining our programmes age 8yrs , being a recipient of the ‘McCrory Award, HvH Arts youth ambassador and a scholar and is now off to university !

Thank you to Camden Council Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan UK Government for funding HvH ARTS FESTIVAL this year !

Sharing with you all the first hour of HvH ARTS Festival ‘Create & Thrive’ summer event with cohorts 5yrs to 10yrs - our little dancers , spoken word , visual arts , workshops in tie dye , jewellery making , henna tattoos , fashion collage and delicious food at our FREE community event supporting our young artists being funded by Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan UK Government Camden Council with the honourable Mayor of Camden and Cllr. CELEBRATING our children and young people’s creativity - Join us for an early evening of festivities with performances by TheMusicMentoringProject the crimson DJ sets by E with rapper Acarni The Apex Project all coming along to perform - see our dance performance - fashion show and our awards ceremony at 6PM with our ceo Debbi Clark Mayor of Camden and Cllr Sabrina Francis coming along to visit us !
food - candy floss and of course there will be CAKE!

CULTURE VULTURE TRIP with our CEO Debbi Clark and Patricia Jones/Petite Fashion/Style Cat Onyac .rackal on our HAF WK3 we went to Tate to see the Frida Kahlo exhibition and had a lovely visit with Honor CEO Young Camden Foundation who came to meet our talented young artists, having some great conversations about art!

Our lunches this week are sponsored by our partners LEON with thanks to Fiona Harrold and Melody and the amazing team at LEON for looking after us this week! Having a healthy lunch is so important, one of our youth ambassadors sent our CEO a message about the amazing lunches at LEON “Thank you so much for our lunches today! After lunch, we sat near the Thames and drew portraits, self portraits and various skyline perspectives and the students were super focused and produced amazing Friday Khalo inspired artwork. Enjoying a healthy and yummy lunch really encouraged the students to concentrate so thank youu!!
Such a magical day cultivating the arts and having the best lunches ever !

Supporting our many creative children (5yrs to 10yrs) this week at our partner school with our artists in residence .space Emma Jordan with healthy hot lunches being provided every day Julia Huie-Martin and our amazing SEN lead lily alice supporting our young children this week.
With our super crew of assistants Florencia Prado E .imani Aysah .0 and our programme coordinator Dee Johnston. With massive thanks to Cass Art for supporting our art resources with our charity discount code providing HvH ARTS the best of art materials!

What a fantastic weekend with our artists in residence Patricia Jones/Petite Fashion/Style Zoe Grace🍒 coming in for a 3 day course in fashion . ‘Camden as a Catwalk’ designing sustainable fashion - upcycling , embellishing all our donated clothes with our donated fabrics, snazzy jewels , beads and lace! We can’t wait to show you what we have been making, you can see our fashion show and finished designs at our end of summer festival .

With huge thanks to our donors who suooorted our summer fundraising campaign being match funded The Childhood Trust our pledge Durkan Homes being supported on Big Give this funding is giving free access to the arts for us to be able to open every day during the summer holidays!
