The Museum of Campaigning

The Museum of Campaigning The Museum of Campaigning was established to preserve the history of campaigning and to picture the present vibrant realm of campaigning.

We are a group of students for an MA in Media, Campaigning and Social Change. For one of our assessments we have to create a Museum of Campaigning to raise awareness of how integral campaigning and social movements have been throughout history. The Museum of Campaigning was established to preserve the history of campaigning, to picture the present vibrant realm of campaigning and to help shaping i

ts future. Our permanent collection chronicles the history of campaigning and contains sections exposing power, change, campaign goods and topical campaigns. Besides that we also offer a range of shifting exhibitions. Campaigns are manmade, therefore the museum is paying homage to individuals from past generations who raised their voices, stood up, marched and even died for “the cause”. Mahatma Ghandi, Rosa Parks and Nelson Mandela are among them, but we particularly emphasize the unknown campaigners and activists like Paula Reiner, Michael Butcher and Steven Leven. With our extensive collection of knowledge, experience and wisdom around campaigning we aim to educate and inspire current and future generations. We are looking forward to your visit!
