Ukrainian Art House reveals artwork by Limpika Lilac | Alina Pyatnova: “All to Smithereens”

Through “All to Smithereens”, artist invites viewers to reflect on the fragility of culture, the resilience of art, and the enduring human capacity to seek and preserve beauty.
At the heart of this striking piece, from her Surrealism & Pop Art Collection, is the iconic Campbell’s soup can, immortalised by Andy Warhol and elevated to the realm of fine art. Pyatnova captures it in a moment of dramatic freefall, colliding with a delicate representation of high art — a powerful metaphor for the destructive impulses of our era and the relentless pursuit of novelty.
Inspired by acts of cultural vandalism and attacks on masterpieces of the past, the work explores the tension between destruction and preservation. Despite the impact, the essence of beauty and the sublime endures, asserting the timeless strength of artistic legacy and the irreplaceable spirit of creativity.

Born in Ukraine in 1984, Alina Pyatnova is a painter and trained architect whose artistic vision blends structural precision with philosophical depth and emotional resonance. Descended from a lineage of artists and musicians, she exhibited internationally from a young age and has since developed a body of work exploring memory, identity, and human connection. Her practice spans painting, sculpture, mosaic, ceramics, and monumental art, often in collaboration with architects on bespoke projects.
