Yazan Khalili / Accomplished Superstar Artist that lives and works between ⛵️ Palestine & Amsterdam . Received a degree in architecture from Birzeit University, graduated with a Masters degree✨ from the Centre for Research Architecture at Goldsmith's College , University of London & is currently doing his MFA degree at Sandberg Institute, Amsterdam . Yazan’s photography is crisp⚡️, detailed, reflective, full of light & intent. Using photography & the written word ✏️, Khalili unpacks historically constructed landscapes. Borrowing from cinematic language, images become frames where the spectator embodies the progression of time and narratives ☔️. He has participated in numerous shows internationally , including Regarding Distance, his first solo exhibition in the UK at EOA.Projects, 2014 , Sandi Hilal & Alessandro Petti’s project Ramallah Syndrome in the Palestine c/o Venice Pavilion at the 53rd Venice Biennale, 2009✨. In 2009, alongside Lara Khaldi, Khalili co-curated We Were Never Heroes as part of the Jerusalem Show⚡️⚡️⚡️, and Independent Film in Palestine, at the Arab Shorts Festival presented by the Goethe Institute, in Cairo .
