Glad to hear that the folks behind Across Lands who were part of our pop-up theatre last year have now embarked on the second phase of their project! Follow their page for updates & here's wishing them all the best : )

'Where' is home to you? A place you've known your whole life, a familiar smell that sense of comfort and security, an idea you've built up in your head? Home is all of these things and more.

'Where?' takes to the streets to explore these different notions of home through our conversations with strangers. 'Where?' offers a space for people to share their thoughts on the concept of home, and invites the world to hear what they have to say.

Every three days, a new conversation will be shared via our youtube channel. Each conversation is unique in interviewee, and every week 'Where?' occurs at different location and with a different method of approach.

'Where?' is the second in the Across Lands series, which explores the universal understandings of the human experience.

'Where' Is Home To You?

A different approach

Thank you to everyone who's come down for our events at Platform 65 x Invisible Islands the past few days! The installation & our pop-up bookshop close at 5pm today, so it's your last chance to catch it before we move out of Safehouse!

Dwelling on mythologies of distance, Invisible Islands plays out as a conversation between three architectural designers based in Singapore and an artist based in London, UK. It is set in the Safehouse, a restored Victorian house turned arts space in Peckham, London.

Ho Leng of 7x8 kuratoren recently revisited Singapore, which inspired this article based on one-question interviews with contemporary arts professionals in Singapore.

Including director of National Museum of Singapore, principal teaching fellow of Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, head curator of visual arts at Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay, ...and little old Platform 65. Eeeep.

P.S., It was difficult to sum up 10 years, and in 200 words (as instructed), no more. On hindsight, really should've just disobeyed the instructions...
