From Figure Skater to Landscape Painter
David Taylor is one of our longest-standing and best-selling artists, and his dramatic landscape paintings are always a regular feature on our walls.
From a career as a competitive figure skater to becoming a full-time artist, David’s journey is rich and full of inspiration.
We’re delighted to have commissioned this film, offering a glimpse behind the curtain into his life, work, and creative process.
Tom first discovered David’s work as a fellow artist, way before opening the gallery, and over the years, that connection has grown into a close friendship.
It’s been a real pleasure to watch David’s art gain such traction and admiration across our exhibitions and art fairs - and to see that he's not lost a beat on the ice ⛸️
