This event will feature a talk by curator Peter Dobson at 6.30pm, ‘Cornelius McCarthy: Art and Eros’, and a show-and-tell display of LGBTQ material from our heritage collections. The 'Radiant Affinities' exhibition continues until 7th May, but at 2.30 pm on Saturday 18th April at the same venue,Tower Hamlets Local History Library and Archives, there will be an event to launch the first full-length biography of the artist. This is Peter Dobson's 'Radiant Affinities: the Life and Work of Cornelius McCarthy', published by Galerie MooiMan in The Netherlands. The afternoon will include a special presentation by the author followed by a book signing.
