2023 was an important year for us as we merged Jerwood Charity (Jerwood Arts) into Jerwood Foundation and appointed Rupert Tyler as Chairman of Jerwood Foundation.

Alan Grieve CBE, who has dedicated over 30 years to Jerwood, was appointed Chairman Emeritus and remains a Jerwood Foundation Trustee.

We also completed the gift of the gallery building to Hastings Borough Council for the benefit and wellbeing of the people of Hastings, among other significant steps forward.

"The course was amazing. It met all my expectations. I enjoyed meeting industry professionals and sharing our ideas with them. Having the long Saturday to make our sets was really inspiring and it was lovely to see everyone’s designs." - Participant in the Jerwood Introduction to Set Design course, led by the team at Leeds Playhouse .
