He was born in 1959 to an Italian mother and a French father who were both inventors. Moncler then moved to London in the late 90's, to pursue his artistic career. From a young age, his parents nurtured his passion for painting, and R.L showed a natural talent for the artform, using a number of different materials and techniques to complete his incredible artworks. Moncler's most famous collection
of work is titled '2084', where his paintings showcase the stark reality of our future world. From portraits of fellow survivors, patrolling machines or abstract depictions of ruined cities, his art serves as a testament to the resilience of humanity in the face of overwhelming adversity. As an artist, R.L Moncler has dedicated his life to capturing the beauty and despair of this dystopian future through his art.
