Liverpool Art Fair is back for an eighth year in the summer of 2019 in an exciting new venue! We are bringing Liverpool Art Fair into the heart of the city centre thanks to our new partnership with Liverpool’s most stylish designer shopping mall, Metquarter. This exciting new venue, which also re

cently welcomed the sophisticated Everyman Cinema, will allow us to hold our longest event yet, running for 80 days from mid-June.

We are delighted by the incredible response to our Private View event, which is now FULLY BOOKED!

If you have registered for a ticket but are no longer able to attend, we kindly ask that you cancel your booking so that your place can be offered to someone on the waiting list.✨

If you missed out on a ticket, you can still join the waiting list and will be contacted should spaces become available.👍🏼

Please note that all attendees must have a valid ticket and should attend during their selected time slot.

Due to new legislation, we are required to limit capacity within the building to a maximum of 150 people at any one time. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. As a result, there may be short queues at busy periods, and we thank you in advance for your patience.☺️

We understand it can feel intimidating to submit your artwork to an exhibition or a selling art fair such as LAF.

You may wonder: what are other artists submitting, and how will my work compare?

We bring together artists at every stage of their careers, regardless of professional credentials or qualifications. If you're submitting for the very first time, you’ll be joining our growing community of regional artists bringing their work directly to the public, so welcome!

⚠️ Just one week left to get your submissions in for Liverpool Art Fair 2026 ❗

As a reminder, LAF25 saw nearly 200 local artists fill with art over 7 weeks, and saw thousands of visitors. We handle instalments and shipping (national and international) for art buyers, so you don't have to!

Key dates:
🔴 26th April: Deadline for submissions
🔴 w/c 4th May: Work selected by LAF panel & successful artists notified
🔴 30th May OR 2nd June: Delivery of work
🔴 11th June: Launch event
🔴 12th June – 26th July: Open to public
🔴 27th July: Take down and collection of work

A throwback aaall the way to 2012, to the first ever Liverpool Art Fair!

We’ve been having a look back through the archives to see how things have changed.

LAF12 took place over just 5 days at the then, brand new as part of the inaugural Liverpool Art Month, which evolved from the Liverpool Art Prize. Anyone remember these events?

The first fair aimed to be: an exciting new open submission selling event, designed to connect local artists with new art buyers on a large scale, break down barriers, and make affordable art accessible to all. So, some things haven’t changed!

We are loving the square photos, sepia filters and overlays on these.

Don’t forget that artist submissions for LAF26 close at midnight Sunday 26th April.

We can’t wait to connect local artists directly with art buyers and prove that incredible art can be affordable for everyone, regardless of experience or education.

Over the past 11 years we have shown the work of nearly 2,700 local artists. This lovely quote from a LAF 25 artist highlights a lack of opportunity for artists in the North, when compared with opportunities in the South.

So, if you’re based within 35 miles of Liverpool, we can’t wait to fill the Royal Liver Building with incredible art again this summer. Get involved and submit now!

Submissions for Liverpool Art Fair 2026 are now open!
We need you and your artwork to make LAF 26 even better than last year and we're so excited to showcase another exceptional selection of regional talent this summer.

Submissions are open for ALL artists within in a 35 mile radius until the 26th April, and successful artists will be notified in early May.

Liverpool Art Fair 2026 is coming soon!

The annual affordable art fair will return to the Royal Liver Building this summer from 12th June - 26th July.

Showcasing the work of local artists from a 35-mile radius of Liverpool city centre, submissions for artwork will open on the 16th March-26th April.
