🚂 Trains Trains Trains! returns this weekend, Saturday 15 & Sunday 16 August. Our popular railway extravaganza is back with all the usual fun, as well as sneak peeks at our upcoming Railway Gallery redevelopment.

There'll be a pop up exhibition from the Friends of Sierra Leone National Railway Museum, tours of the locomotives in storage including tours of the external / outdoor museum store, talks and drop in activities.

Plus, an opportunity to make your voice heard as part of a public consultations as we embark on developing a new Railway Gallery.

Fuzzy, buzzy fun inspired by nature and our Untangled exhibition. Join us throughout the summer holidays for a special ladybird trail and nature inspired felt and wool craft workshops in the grounds (weather dependent).

This week is your last chance to catch Reel-ise at Leeds Industrial Museum!

This community-curated exhibition explores the untold and sometimes concealed stories of women, people of colour and q***r people who helped shape Leeds' rich film heritage.

The show looks at the culture of filmmaking within the context of the city, with a particular focus on inspiring local filmmakers, producers and cinemas, as well as visits by famous faces to Leeds!

Help shape your local heritage!

Leeds City Council and Wade’s Charity, supported by Leeds Civic Trust, are undertaking a Conservation Management Plan for Armley House (Gott's Mansion) and Parks, the former home of industrialist Benjamin Gott who once owned our own historic building, Armley Mills.

This project is critical to understanding the heritage and importance of the house and parks, ensuring they are correctly cared for, both now and in the future.

To launch the consultation, members of the public are invited to Armley House (Gott's Mansion) café next week to hear more about the project and share their thoughts through a number of interactive activities for all ages.
