The Commonwealth War Graves Commission is offering guided tours larkhall cemetery, during which you will learn about the work of the Commission and hear the remarkable stories of some of those who died in the two world wars and are buried in the community.

The tour at Larkhall Cemetery on Sunday 23rd August is free but should be booked on their website:

Here we have an historic photograph of Trinity Church, taken prior to the construction of King Street, which was later developed to provide access to Larkhall Central railway station.

The image shows a very different setting, with open ground where the road now runs. It also reveals a feature no longer present—the additional spire that once rose from the roof of the church.
