Neil Cook is a regular visitor to the museum and he produces the excellent Unique Images of Hull calendars every year. We have an advance copy of his 2027 calendar and we can take orders if anyone would like one.
Neil will be at the museum on September 19th if you would like to meet him and see more of his work as well as the new calendar.
The calendar costs £5.

You may have seen the Christine Derbyshire trophy on visits to the museum. Christine was a St James pupil who sadly died when she was only 12. Her parents donated the trophy to the school in her memory and it was given to the pupil deemed to have done something above and beyond every year. When the old school closed in 1977 the trophy went to the new school on Dorchester Road where it continued to be presented - the list shows the pupils from both schools who received the trophy.
