True's Yard Fisherfolk Museum True's Yard is virtually all that remains of King's Lynn's old fishing community in the North End.

True’s Yard is a socially driven tourist attraction, community hub and education centre located in the North End of King's Lynn. The Museum aims for visitors to discover and enjoy King's Lynn’s North End past and present through its remarkable heritage assets. At its heart is the last surviving yard with Grade 2 Listed fisherfolk cottages, There is also a Victorian smokehouse and fishing boat on s

ite. The Museum runs temporary exhibitions, lunchtime talks, family and local history classes and tours of the North End. You can also drop by to visit the Museum’s gift shop or enjoy a delicious slice of cake in our Georgian panelled tearoom- perfect for meetups and available to hire for event.

Spotter Trail- learn all about bugs and maybe spot some in our garden.
Hapa Zoma - the Japanese art of hammering flowers with mallets to make beautiful art.
Summer Scents- using herbs and plants from our garden you can make your own scent creations.
4th August - Art Week
Make some artworks to form a collage in the Museum.
Pebble Art- design your own artwork on a pebble to take home.
12th August -History Week
Victorian Toys and Games
New Rat Trail- can you find them all?!
18th August - Craft Week

Each drop in session is just a £1+ 1 free accompanying adult
Sessions are Session 1 10:30 am - 12:30 pm Session 2 1pm - 3pm
Additional charge for more adults. This is so we can maximise spaces for children to enjoy the activities and help subsidise the cost of the materials.

With the Museum's 35th anniversary this year it is good to look back to how it all began. As a simple travelling exhibition with a vision that now we are all familiar with as reality but so easily could have been lost forever.
To have found a new piece of the lost North End this year with the discoveries in the Yard has been a gift we weren't expecting.
