👉 You can find alternative parking nearby at Rawnsley Hall.
📍 Visiting during Keswick Convention (18th July – 9th August)? Access to the museum will be via Keswick Convention security (Convention car park), as our usual entrance routes won’t be in use.

Looking for a fun and varied seasonal role?
We're looking for a Seasonal Museum Associate to join our friendly team until the beginning of November. If you enjoy meeting people, working as part of a team, and creating great visitor experiences, we'd love to hear from you!
🌟 What you'll be doing: • Welcoming visitors and helping them make the most of their visit
• Sharing information about our fascinating exhibits and history
• Promoting retail sales and visitor experiences
• Assisting with the day-to-day running of our gift shop and café
• Acting as a passionate ambassador for The Derwent Pencil Museum
✅ What we offer: • Full paid training provided
• A varied role where no two days are the same
• A supportive and friendly team environment
• The opportunity to be part of a popular visitor attraction
🕒 What we're looking for: • Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week, including weekends

Join us at the Pencil Museum on Thursday 11th June to mark the 40th Anniversary of the Derwent Drawing Range. Our technical team will be onsite from 10:30am to 1:30pm, ready to answer your questions and share their expertise - don't miss this chance to learn more about these much loved pencils. We look forward to celebrating with you!
