💎✨ Strung together: glass beads and identities in Early medieval England ✨💎
with Dr. Eleonora Montanari
Even though glass beads may look trivial to us, they tell multiple stories that span time and place. By looking at how glass beads were made, worn and curated in Anglo-Saxon England, Dr. Eleonora Montanari will explore craft, representations of the self and group identities in death - and why such small artefacts can be so meaningful.
