Security Hangers...

Did you know that we can provide security hangers for fitting pictures, mirrors etc to walls - perfect for public spaces such as pubs, restaurants, hotels, care homes etc

These come with a lockable section which ensures that, once installed, the artwork won't move if knocked, can't be lifted off the wall etc.

We can also fit items with perspex instead of glass - something we regularly do when supplying artwork into care homes, hotels etc

Things We've Learnt About Framing #1

The frame doesn't always have to come first…

When you're choosing how to frame a picture, it's easy to start with the frame.
You might see a style you love and immediately think, “That would look great.”
And sometimes it will.
But good framing is about looking at the whole picture — the artwork, the mount, the frame and where the finished piece is going to live.

Some artwork benefits from a mount, while other pieces look better without one. Sometimes the artwork itself dictates the frame; sometimes the frame is the starting point.
There isn't always a right or wrong answer.
The important thing is finding the combination that works best for the artwork.

That's why, when you visit one of our galleries, we'll often ask a few questions before suggesting a frame.

Because good framing starts with asking questions.

Seen a frame you love?

“Can you get this one?”

Quite often… yes!

Send us a photograph, bring us a sample or show us what you're looking for and we'll see what we can source.

We have access to a huge range of mouldings, so if you've got something specific in mind, don't assume we can't get it — just ask.

If we can find it, we'll frame it.

From our workshop… to our walls.

A little behind-the-scenes look at some of the stock getting ready to head out.

Carefully framed, wrapped and protected — ready to find a new home.

We might spend a lot of time talking about the finished picture, but there’s plenty that goes on behind the scenes before it ever reaches the wall.

One frame at a time… or, in this case, quite a few! 😉

🚨 FRAME EMERGENCY? DON'T PANIC. WE CAN HELP. 🚨

Broken glass?

It doesn't necessarily mean the picture needs replacing.

We can replace the glass and, where appropriate, upgrade it to options such as anti-reflective or UV-protective glazing — giving your artwork a fresh look while helping to protect it.
