Hornsea Museum will reopen for the 2026 season on SATURDAY 28 MARCH
The Museum shop will open a week earlier on SATURDAY 21st MARCH
Sorry, no dogs allowed except trained assistance dogs Victorian school room. Childhood and toys display. World War 1 and 2 exhibition. Hornsea Pottery - 2000 item on display. The Whitedale building - The history of the Hull to Hornsea railway line with a working model

railway layout including Hornsea station. Also Hornsea's fishing heritage with scale model fishing boats. Last entry is one hour before closing.

​Toilet facilities on site. Sorry, no dogs allowed except assistance dogs.

Please be aware, if visiting the museum on Wednesday 8th & Thursday 9th April, there will not be access to the blacksmith, wheelwright and joiner's workshops owing to urgent roofing work. The remainder of the museum exhibits are unaffected by this work. Sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause.

PLEASE NOTE OWING TO REPAIRS THE WOODEN GATE INTO THE MUSEUM IS CLOSED. DISABLED ACCESS IS VIA A RAMP INTO THE SHOP. PLEASE ALERT STAFF IF YOU REQUIRE THE RAMP UPON ARRIVAL. SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIECE.
