Every item in our gallery has been made by hand, by someone who has spent real time and care bringing it to life. When you pick one up, you can feel the difference, and once you've tried making something yourself, you understand the value even more.

One week to go and you don't want to miss this 🏺

The Porcelain Figures Workshop with artist and tutor Mia Bradford is happening next Tuesday 8th September at The Old Bank Pottery Studio & Gallery in Henley-in-Arden.

A small group, three hours of guided making, and you’ll learn how to build your own expressive porcelain figure, completely from scratch

This is a one off workshop, so if it has been on your radar, this is your moment.

You might find it hard to believe that you can build a figure like this in 3 hours as a complete beginner, but Mia will be supporting you every step of the way, and you’ll be surprised by what you’re capable of.

Look at what this summer produced 🏺

Every single piece here was made by a young potter aged 9 to 17 - many of them picking up clay for the very first time this summer.
The talent, the creativity, and honestly the sheer confidence they developed across the sessions has been brilliant to watch.

A huge well done to every single one of them 🏺

The kids and teen courses will be running again in a couple of months, so keep an eye on our page and website for dates, and book early as spaces always fill up quickly!

You can, on Tuesday 8th September.

Artist Mia Bradford will be in the studio at The Old Bank Pottery Studio & Gallery in Henley-in-Arden for a very special one off workshop on building the human form in porcelain. You might think it looks too complex for a beginner, but Mia will be guiding you every step of the way, and by the end of the three hour session you will have created your own figure entirely by hand.

You'll learn how a tilt of a head, the curve of a spine, the fold of an arm and the smallest details can bring a piece to life.

This is a one off class. Once it's gone, it's gone - and spaces are almost full.
