We invite you to join us for a very special evening at Cornucopia Unit Four — a candle-lit gathering to remember, reflect, and honour those who have passed.

Hosted by Stuart Delves, this will be an opportunity to come together in a safe, intimate and welcoming space, surrounded by the gentle glow of candlelight, to share stories of those who have left their mark upon our lives.

There is no expectation to share, no need to find the perfect words. You are welcome simply to sit, listen, remember, and be present.

✨ Film screening at Cornucopia Unit Four, debuting the Geopoetics weekend in the Scottish Borders - welcome to attend the whole weekend or for a single event/session.

Expressing the Earth, the acclaimed film by Glenda Rome, takes us on a cinematic journey into the heart of Geopoetics; featuring the poetry of the late Scottish poet - thinker Kenneth White, which seeks a more meaningful connection between the mind, language and the natural world.

Afterwards, there will be a chance to ask questions to the people involved in its creation: Glenda Rome - director, Claire Pençak - the dance artist featured in the film, and Norman Bissell - its producer.

From 23rd–25th October, Geopoetics invites us to explore the fascinating connections between the places we inhabit, the stories we tell, and the words through which we make sense of the world.

Here in the Scottish Borders, where landscape carries layers of history, and imagination, these conversations feel rather meaningful.

What does it mean to belong to a place? How does the land shape our stories, and how might poetry change the way we see the world around us?

Geopoetics opens up space for curiosity, reflection and new ways of thinking about our relationship with the world.
We look forward to this celebration of place, language and creative thoughts.

We are delighted to be preparing for an exhibition of paintings by William Morrison-Bell, a Northumberland-born artist whose work explores our emotional connection with the landscapes around us.

His Dark Skies Series celebrates the extraordinary beauty of dark skies around the world, and we look forward to welcoming you to Cornucopia to discover his work.

A good excuse to stop for a moment and remember why we read in the first place...
We read to disappear into another world.
To meet people we could never meet in real life.
To understand something we didn’t understand yesterday.
To laugh, to grieve, to be surprised.
To find the exact words for something we’ve been feeling but couldn’t quite name.

The Phantom introduces us to Poe’s spirit as he tries to recall his life, including his childhood in Scotland. After losing all his writing in a fire, he reconstructs fragments of works including The Black Cat, and The Raven. A hauntingly human story of memory, loss and determination—come and discover the man behind the mystery.
