The Museum will be closed on Saturday 27th June. Instead, why not come and visit us at our Gazebo during the Armed Forces Day event on the Market Square, Haverhill.
Should be a great day, military vehicles, entertainment with live music from the Glenmoriston Pipe Band and the Bluebird Girls. 11.00am - 2.30pm. We look forward to seeing you there.

Hello there, and thank you for the acceptance. I hope the following is ok to post.
I'm searching for relatives of Miss Margaret Mary Mitchell. Her last known address was given as Westminster Bank, Haverhill in 1945. Her sister, Joan Snellgrove, shared the same address.
Margaret, who was born in Shanklin in 1891, 'worked' as a Chief Cipher Clerk for Special Operations Executive (SOE) during WW2 in Athens, and then in Cairo. She was fluent in French. It's possible upon her return to the UK at the end of WW2, that she began work for British Intelligence - MI5.
