Looking for free activities for kids during the summer holidays? Come along to our new activity corner in History House. We are open Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays 11am until 4pm.

Don't forget we have a good talk and presentation by T**h Hamilton happening today at 2pm in History House. T**h will be talking about how horse winches were used to haul fishing boats up the beach, and will be demonstrating with his newly built working model! So in between all the other wonderful things you are doing, do pop in and see us.
Even if you miss the talk we would still love to see you. Talk details are in our previous post 😁

Oh no they have let me loose in the House, we are open everyday this week, we have things for sale as well as the towns History to find out . Things for sale are tote bags, T shirts or a book or a local photograph. Treat yourself the sun is out, OK it's always out these days. Pop in and say hello

After an amazing Pirate weekend we would like to thank all those that visited our House of History, for those that helped out in the Inns with the consumption of Grog, I expect they thankyou also.
So now we all calm and chilled oh and the football has finished. It may just be time for a good local History book, guess what yes, you guessed it, we have just that .
we will be open on Thursday Friday and Saturday.. So if you wish to purchase a book or just relax while looking for the past, we would love to see you ❤️
