We had a fabulous day with pupils from Stranton Primary and their very enthusiastic teachers! It was great to see everyone so involved in the workshops with volunteers Ian and Dennis.

Big thank you to all the drivers who brought their classic cars along for our very first Compact Classic Car Show!

We have more cars at the museum tomorrow, Sunday 11th October from 10am until 3pm for visitors to see.

We hope to have more shows in 2027, so watch out for dates on our website soon!

Our very first compact Classic Car show! Pop in and see them today and tomorrow 10am until 3pm.

On the 10th and 11th October we will be having our very first compact Classic Car event!

Vehicles from Retros of Teesside, Sunderland District Car Club and friends will be here across the weekend to delight visitors with the classic cars of the not too distant past (for some of us 😂).

Come along and support the event, admission includes access to the car show.

We were delighted to welcome back Bishop Auckland Veterans Group and SAFFA Durham Branch to the museum for their annual visit. They brought us gifts! We were presented with 2 plaques to add to our collection.

The group enjoyed their visit with tour guide Pete, and we look forward to seeing them all again next year!
