It was an absolute pleasure to be involved in this wonderful project! Moving Together: A Journey in Motion celebrates the beautiful connection between youth, age, and human expression through art, activity, sport and wellbeing.

We were lucky enough to join the participants at Albany Court, where residents came together with children from local primary schools to explore the movement of some of our animals. They used this as inspiration to create some of the wonderful artwork on display as part of the exhibition at the Museum of Hartlepool.

Thank you again for having us, and a huge well done to everyone involved in bringing this fantastic project to life!

We are incredibly proud to share that our Managing Director, Sami Younger, has been honoured with the Tara Davison Kindness Award at this year's Hart Gables LGBT Alliance Awards!!🌈

The LGBT Alliance Awards celebrate the individuals, schools and organisations across the region who champion LGBTQ+ inclusion, create safe and welcoming spaces, and make a genuine difference through equality, compassion and kindness. The Tara Davison Kindness Award is a particularly special recognition, celebrating exceptional kindness shown towards members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Anyone who knows Sami will agree that she is extremely deserving of this recognition. Her compassion, empathy and unwavering commitment to supporting others have helped shape the heart of everything we do at Pets4People, and this award is a reflection of those values. Through our animal-assisted activities, support and education service, we are committed to kindness, inclusion and creating safe, welcoming spaces for everyone. This recognition celebrates not only Sami's leadership but also the compassion, dedication and support shown by the whole Pets4People team every day.

A huge thank you to Hart Gables for hosting such an inspiring event and for recognising the people and organisations working to make our communities more inclusive for everyone.

Finally, congratulations to all of the nominees and winners. Your passion and dedication are helping to create a kinder, more accepting future, and it was an honour to celebrate alongside you all!

THE DAILY CRICKET 🦗
CHILLI'S JUNE MELTDOWN: A MONTH IN REVIEW

In this issue of The Daily Cricket, we're looking back on a month full of black beards. What has caused this month's beardie meltdowns I hear you ask?

1. The room fan, which was just doing its job.
2. He pooed in his vivarium, and couldn't deal with the smell.
3. He spotted a darkling beetle, but he couldn't eat it because it was in a snake's vivarium.
4. Seagulls.

As another month comes to a close, one thing remains certain: Chilli will always find something to black beard about. Whether it's seagulls, household appliances, the consequences of his own actions, or a beetle that's simply out of reach, no inconvenience is too small to become a full-scale reptilian crisis.

Look out for next month's edition to discover what completely reasonable thing Chilli decides is unacceptable next.
