ven that animals have a calming influence on people and when people have positive interactions with animals, managing their general health and welfare it gives people a sense of purpose and feelings of accomplishment whilst developing independence and confidence etc. Regular interaction with animals can lower stress & anxiety, increase feelings of love, belonging and reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation. Support is offered on either a 1:1 basis or group activity sessions) support can be offered in a person's home, school and work place or Pets4People activity location.

What a fantastic day we had! The children had so much fun rockpooling and discovering all the amazing wildlife hiding among the rocks. We spotted lots of sea creatures, including crabs and fish!

*All animals were released where we found them after we'd looked at them

A few photos from our teen group a couple of weeks ago, when we enjoyed a visit to Summerhill Country Park!

We took part in lots of different activities, including an art project that encouraged people to share what they think is great about the town, as well as what they feel could still be improved.

One thing our young people highlighted was accessibility around the town. They felt there is still a lot of room for improvement - something we regularly experience ourselves when running our sessions around the town.

It was great to see our young people sharing their views, getting involved and helping to shape conversations about making our community a better place!
