Waltham Miniature Railway
This weekend, subject to the weather being kind we will be operating passenger trains this Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holiday Monday. There may also be a traction engine offering rides for some of the time.
It is also planned to have the garden gauge railway in operation on Saturday and Sunday, again subject to the weather.
Even if the weather is not so good there will be a free exhibition of O gauge tinplate railways in the Clubhouse for you to enjoy.
Tickets for all rides are just £2.00 per person (all classes). We accept card and contactless payments as well as cash.

Wednesday 5th August 2026 - 2-4PM
Waltham Windmill
These sessions are open to children aged 7 and over.
Tickets are £4.00 per child for a two-hour session.
Under 7's must be accompanied by an adult during the session. Parents/guardians of children aged 7 and over are asked to remain on the Windmill site but are welcome to leave their children for the hour to wander around the Waltham Windmill site, visit the shops or grab a coffee at one of the cafes.

Waltham Miniature Railway
Schools out for the Summer! We will be running passenger trains on Wednesday's and Sunday's throughout the summer holidays.
Trains will run from noon until 4pm, with the last train leaving at 3.50pm.
Tickets are just £2.00 per person (all classes). You can also purchase a block of 6 tickets for £10.00. We accept card and contactless payments as well as cash.

This week we feature "Wallis" a 0-4-0 Saddle tank loco with tender. The originals were built by Hunslet of Leeds and many were used for tranporting Slate from the Quarries of North Wales. A number have survived into preservation and can be seen working on a number of North Wales Narrow Gauge railways and elsewhere.
