Greenock - Dutch Gable House

Our Inverclyde Council 'Future Jobs' trainees have been working hard while learning new skills in painting and repairs at the Dutch Gable House. The team have done a brilliant job and we are delighted to announce that The Dutch Gable House will now be re-opened for Doors Open Day on Saturday 31st of August.

We will be exhibiting a collection of rare Inverlcyde WWII photographs from the Imperial War Museum archive. We will also be conducting a community listening survey about the future use of the building, so please pop in for a cup of tea and a chat.

We are especially keen to hear from small community groups interested in using the space, including: musicians, drama groups, book clubs, crafters, makers, knitting groups, writers, storytellers and artists. If you are interested in using the DGH, please get in touch with [email protected] or drop in and speak to us at The Gable on Sat 31st of Aug.

On the day, you can also find out more about all our other Trust projects from 'Employability' and 'Befriending' to 'Food To Fork', as well as 'Sharing Stories' and 'Community Tracks'. We look forward to seeing you all! 😁
