📣 Call Out for Workshop Facilitators for our Get Creative Programme
📅 Submission Deadline: Monday 28th September 2026

In Spring 2025, we introduced ‘Get Creative’, our new programme of monthly workshops for ages 18+.

The aim of the programme is to introduce attendees to new skills, enhance existing ones, or allow them to rediscover the love of an old hobby all whilst having fun, socialising and engaging creatively.

We have a different workshop each month with past art forms including embroidery, paper-cutting, acting, singing, printing, calligraphy and pyrography to name but a few.

We are now looking for facilitators for workshops taking place in November 2026 - March 2027.

September: An Intro to Burlesque with Miss Crimson Delight

Join Miss Crimson Delight as she teaches you the basic and fundamental moves of Burlesque.

From hip dips to chair moves, these simple yet elegant elements will start you on a journey of confidence building, and you will never look back.

Please bring a long scarf to use at the workshop.

Jelosimiartcenter invites young artists aged 6 - 18 to take part in Gravesham Black History Month 2026.

We are looking from young creatives to share artwork inspired by Nigerian, African, Caribbean or their own cultural experiences, identity, heritage and community.

All styles and abilities are welcome: Painting, Drawing, Photography, Digital Art, Sculpture, Mixed Media, Textiles.

Whether you are an emerging artist or simply love creating, we want to see your work.

Be proud. Be creative. Be heard.

Be part of Black History Month 2026.

Open to young people from Gravesham and surrounding areas with applications welcome from further afield.

Milton Chantry is delighted to be taking part in Heritage Open Days 2026. This unique historic building offers free admission to all visitors and, as part of the national celebration, we are hosting a free family craft activity on Sunday 13 September and Sunday 20 September, from 12.30pm to 2.30pm. Come along, get creative, and discover the history of this fascinating local landmark.

Join the elves of Winter Wonder, where they can’t wait to welcome you on a VIP tour of the Old Tinsel Factory, and introduce you to the Christmas Wish Vault!

But wait, there’s a problem with the vault and all of the Christmas Magic is escaping! What will the elves do if they can’t transport the Christmas Wishes to the North Pole?

Maybe you can help! Will you step up, and become an Honoury VIE (Very Important Elf), and help make more Christmas Magic so that the vault stays powered and the Christmas wishes are saved? You will? Fantastic! We can’t wait to see you!

Part performance, part interactive activity, this promenade show, takes you on a whistle-stop tour of Christmas through the ages.
