Our first Junior Art Club of the term 😀 “Observational drawing”we set the children a challenge of choosing some objects, composing a scene, and putting their Art Dectective heads on… This is actually quite tricky, as it involves drawing what your eyes see, rather than what your brain has told you the object is, bet you are already confused 😅 am sure the children can explain this better than I can though 😊
As you can see from their drawings, our young artists listened, composed their scenes, looked very closely for the clues, and artisticly interpretted the challenge brilliantly.
Good job Artists
🎨👏🏻🎨👏🏻🎨👏🏻
P.s See you all on Sat 10th Oct for our next Junior Art Club 😊

Do you have a teenager who loves Art? Our popular Young Artists workshop is for 12-16yr olds, and we have spaces available in the afternoon session. Drop a message or email [email protected] for more info or to book your space 🎨

We still have spaces in our afternoon at our next Young Artists workshop on SATURDAY 17TH OCTOBER, where we will be creating CREEPY MIXED MEDIA LANDSCAPES

In this Young Artists (12-16 yrs) workshop we will be creating different textures and surfaces with paint and transforming them into layered atmospheric and spooky forest landscapes.

🎃👻👻🎃🎃👻👻🎃🎃👻👻🎃

Session times:
Morning session - 10:00-12:30
Afternoon session - 13:30-16:00

Each 2.5-hour session is £15 per person; this includes all materials and equipment

Our small but friendly group currently meet once a month, (morning and afternoon sessions available) where we learn new art techniques and generally have creative fun within a gallery setting.

No previous artistic experience or ability is necessary. All you need to bring is your creativity and enthusiasm, and we will provide the rest 😀

Group numbers are kept small for our sessions (max. 6 children) as we feel it helps keep a calm and friendly atmosphere, while giving us the ability to give guidance to those who may need it.
