Since 2013 the duchy co-founders Lauren Printy Currie and Ainslie Roddick have been on duchy-hiatus, exploring our own respective practices, asking questions about what artist-run or self-organised spaces are for, what they should do, what our responsibilities are, what we want to do next. We've also been exploring separately, our practices as an artist and as a curator. We still don't have many a
nswers, but we have some plans and ideas. Over the next year, we will be revisiting some of the exhibitions, writings and artists we worked with during our time at 23 and 25 Duke Street, with the benefit of hindsight, experience and feedback.
