Canvas Southside are delighted to invite you to our very first exhibition in Glasgow.

That Place was born from the idea that we all carry connections to certain places, moments and scents that stay with us. Whether it’s the feeling of returning somewhere familiar, or the simple memory of a Buddleja butterfly bush in a grandparent’s garden, these small details have a remarkable way of transporting us back in time 🪻

This beautiful joint exhibition by Jenny and Sheena brings together two distinct yet complementary styles, full of colour, texture and atmosphere.

Join us from 26th June - 4th July, with an opening party on Friday 26th June (any excuse!) 🥂 Bring some friends, pop in after work and help us celebrate.

We are incredibly excited to showcase what these fantastic artists have in store!

David Page started his career in the arts by founding Page \ Park Architects. Page has always viewed architecture as the art of making the built environment and for him, drawing and painting were essential to that process. Capturing landscapes in the changing light and atmosphere, invigorate and challenge his work as an artist.

We have multiple pieces in store and on the website - the smallest measuring 100x100 and largest at 120x120.

Pretty cool?

At first glance the clarity and clean aesthetic offer a visual pause but an intricate architecture of associations and meanings lies beneath.

Radek, based in Edinburgh, explores the tension between simplicity and complexity - a deliberate antidote to the saturation of images and data in contemporary life.

Most of the imagery is drawn from fleeting moments - glimpses of buildings from a train or people who have been caught in Radek's thoughts.
