Wright’s glass works are concerned with space, light and time. His intricately designed coloured pieces incorporate handmade glass, leaded in complex patterns. They emerged from his permanent commission at Tate Britain, completed in 2013, and Wright has continued to design and experiment with his methods since, using his language of graphic abstraction and decorative iconography to create repeated geometric patterns that meticulously fold into one another.
