The tapestry tells a unique story about the history of Fishguard & Goodwick. If you would like to know more about our history then pop into Our History/Ein Hanes, which is just a few metres from the Town Hall. (In between the barber shop and Boots). There you will find a treasure trove of photographs and items that tell the story of our Twin Towns.

Please note it is a community project and run by volunteers. They try to be open 9:30 - 3:30 Tuesday to Saturday but cannot guarantee it. But well worth a visit if you can.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Hearing that the National Eisteddfod is on its way was just the thing to help us finish work on a new Welsh language website for the Last Invasion Tapestry. It is our pleasure to announce that it is now live on-line. The Tapestry itself is bilingual and therefore, creating a Welsh website was a natural extension of the artwork itself. Take a look -

TAPESTRY FACTS
There are 178 colours in the tapestry
The wools arrived in large hanks and these all had to separated into smaller skeins, numbered and and stored in a way to make them readily accessible.

Pembrokeshire’s much‑loved coastal buses are gearing up for another summer of scenic journeys, with three key services returning from Saturday May 23rd.

We will be open from 10:00am to 3:30pm. Entrance fee just £3.50 for adults, children under 18 free. Also free to Pembrokeshire library card holders. (You will need to show the card.)
