This is the perfect weekend to visit the museum - not only are our displays (and the railway model!) open upstairs, but it's also Oxfordshire Artweeks.
Eynsham Arts Group will be exhibiting downstairs at the Bartholomew Room, and there are lots of other artists in Eynsham holding exhibitions too!

Take a look at the map in the second image for details.
You can also pick up a history trail leaflet from the museum and look out for all the interesting local buildings, as you walk round the Artweeks sites.
This photo from our collections was taken at the front the W. Sawyer and Sons shop in Eynsham. Sawyers was established in 1856 and traded for 115 years. Sadly the building no longer exists, as it was demolished just a few years after the shop's closure.
