Something new is about to go into the kiln…
This piece is still very much a work in progress and is waiting for its firing. This is always the nerve-racking part — what goes into the kiln isn't necessarily what comes out!
I thought I'd show you the before and, if all goes according to plan, I'll show you the finished piece afterwards.

Meet River

Sitting quietly in the pond, although I’m not sure he looks entirely innocent!

River is cast in bronze using the traditional lost-wax process and becomes a working water feature when installed in a pond.
