While clearing out the shop we found this picture waiting to be collected but as it’s from 2018 the paperwork has gone walkabout!

Does anyone recognise the picture as we want to ensure it is returned to its rightful owner!

‼️‼️SHOP CLOSURE‼️‼️

As many of you may be aware, Shop Owner Jenny has been in hospital since the start of December. She was diagnosed with Vasculitis and also suffered a mini stroke which caused her to lose her mobility / use of her limbs.
She has been in a Stroke Rehabilitation unit since & has been progressing well & She hopes to be home soon though she still has limited use of her hands.

In the meantime, Gill, Jenny’s assistant was doing an incredible job of holding the fort until one of our vital machines broke down which has halted any further work being able to be completed.
This was totally unforeseen and unfortunate.

We tried our very best to resolve the situation but keeping the shop open was becoming difficult and was too much pressure for one person to deal with on their own.

Sadly this means we have taken the decision to close the shop.

The last thing we wanted was to disappoint and let customers down but this really is out of our hands.

Jenny opened Finecraft in honour of her late father, whom from she learnt her craft, 7 and a half years ago. She has thoroughly enjoyed the venture and is more than sad that it had been taken from her in a way completely outwith her control.

She values her customers so very much and wants to assure you all that this was not a decision taken lightly. She will miss you all.

We hope that someone may take over the business but at the moment we are unsure.

email [email protected] with your name, address and a brief description of your work, to discuss collection.

There will be nobody in the shop outwith these times so please do not call the shop as you will not get an answer.

We will try our very best to accommodate in anyway but please have patience with us as Amy is trying to juggle her full time job as well as visiting Jenny in hospital in Aberdeen.

She will be in the shop this Sunday 30th June from 12pm - 3pm.

Again, this is the last thing we wanted & we can only apologise for the inconvenience caused.

The shop will be closed on Saturday 25th May for some well earned time off!
Gill will be back as of Tuesday!

Our wonderful Jenny is a bit under the weather and getting treatment in Aberdeen for now so Gill is currently running the show in the workshop to get the framing done and your work to you as soon as possible.

We hope she will be fighting for soon but apologise for any inconvenience caused. Please understand that we are trying our very best without our Jenny at the helm!
