We recently received gramophone records from the 1941 Rangers v Hibs Cup Final, which were presented to Thomas Strang Esq with compliments from the Directors of Hibernian FC Ltd.
The score? 3-2!

Everyone at The Trust is devasted to hear of the passing of one of our founding Trustees, Frank Dougan.
A true Hibee through and through, Frank was heavily involved in most aspects of the Club, from Hands Off Hibs to his position as fan representative.

Pictured here, first on the left in the back row, Chris joined Hibernian in 1968. Nicknamed 'The Shev', he was Player of the Year in 1970.

Hibernian FC today announced that the Clubβs Executive Chairman and majority shareholder, Ronald J Gordon, passed away earlier this morning (UK time).

A massive thank you to Billy Bryson for handing over a host of treasures he rescued from being disposed of in a skip!
What looks like an original Hibernian Football Club 1901/02 team photo and two reels of 16mm film, with one marked βThe Famous Fiveβ were included.
They are safely in the hands of the Trust and will be conserved and then made available for Hibs fans.

More conservation work - β
The Stade de Reims pennant from the inaugural European Cup semi-final. The hand-made pennant has been framed by Framework Picture Framers in an archival frame, on acid-free cloth, and behind specialist non-reflective UV glass to protect the pennant from light damage.
The artefact will feature in the Hibernian Football Club Pioneers Restaurant reflecting the pathfinding nature of the Club.

Working with 442Design, The Trust is incorporating artefacts into the fabric of the stadium.
