I got into a conversation today about frames, because of this frame. Which is quite funny really, or boring… take your pick! But for me a frame either makes or hides a painting. I fell in love with this frame, and have been trying to find the right painting for it. I think I managed it, and so the customer agreed!

Since getting my trees up and painting them again, I have felt that deep satisfaction again with my work. Not that I don’t love painting the landscapes, but they tell a story of where I have been. They hold physical memories. My trees reveal deeper things. A picture of what’s happening in my head or my heart. I’ll continue to tell stories through my art either way.
