Painted this after a really wonderful weekend with friends at Sanna Bay on the Ardnamurchan peninsula.

This bay is located very close to the most westerly point on mainland Scotland. If west is best then this bay is among the best of the best!

Made the most of the lovely weather last week and had two days painting down by the River Tay. I love that this view contains so many of my favourite things about Dunkeld: the hills where I go mountain biking, the crag at Polney where I go rock climbing, the beer gardens where I spend time with friends, the river where I go swimming, and not least the wonderful scenery!
