I’ve been rubbish at posting recently! We’ve been busy catching up after our holidays, inundated with new framing orders, and also dealing with art enquiries.

We’ve had some really lovely reviews on Google recently too. It’s so kind of people to take the time to write them, and we really do appreciate every single one.

And yesterday, this painting flew off to its new home with a lovely local couple who are becoming collectors of my work - thank you!

Framing services will not be available during this period. However, if you’d like to visit the gallery, please get in touch in advance - we’ll have someone on site who will be happy to show you around.

It’s turned out to be a busy week of stretching and framing some beautiful cross stitches and a very long tapestry.

From a stunning Klimt-inspired design, framed with a black-core mount, black and gold frame, and Clarity glass to a cute little Scottie dog framed with a simple moulding and circular mount, plus several other lovely pieces in between.

Our biggest challenge was this impressive old tapestry, measuring 170 cm long! We attached it to conservation board using clear tabs and added a clear box spacer to ensure the glass doesn’t touch the fabric. It wasn’t the easiest framing job, but looks great!

Just framed these 4 T-shirts in a deep box wooden frame, and I think they look fab together.

A wee bit of advice if you’re looking to buy a signed football, rugby, or any other signed shirt to frame: buy the smallest size available. That way, the frame can be smaller, making it more affordable.
